A Marathon Experience! - 05/05/2009
Thorpe Kilworth’s Senior Designer, Lee Kershaw, competed, for the first time, in this year’s London Marathon on 26 April.
Lee managed a time of 3:40:25 which was slightly slower than he had hoped for but the weather was a lot warmer than he expected so Lee had to adjust his pace to avoid heat exhaustion!
Lee commented “I just want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their generosity and support over the last few months. The money I have raised, which should be in excess of £1500, will go towards helping St John Ambulance carry on their fantastic work all over the country. Taking part in the marathon was an amazing experience and one I would recommend it to everyone!”
Well done Lee on a fantastic effort.
