Continued Participation in Innovative Workplaces Scheme - 11/05/2010
Last October Thorpe Kilworth become one of ten companies in the East Midlands regions to participate in this ACAS led scheme.Innovative Workplaces - Developing Organisations for the Future is a major project being carried in the East Midlands. It is Acas led and managed and funded by East Midlands Development Agency (emda).
The project will work with the participating East Midlands based organisations over a period of up to a year to improve employee engagement, innovation and business performance.
Each company will look at a different combination of things including, for example:
• boosting employee engagement
• improving communications processes
• improving morale and motivation
• managing change and restructuring
• workforce flexibility
• performance management and measurement
• innovation and adaptation
The project will be based around the Acas Model Workplace diagnostic and evaluation framework, which draws on over thirty years of Acas experience in the heart of the British workplace.
