Ten Years of Investor in People - 25/02/2010
Thorpe Kilworth is delighted that it has retained the Investor In People Award for 10 years!
Despite the economic downturn, we continued with our external training programme in 2009 (a small amount of which was completed in early 2010):
1018 training hours of external training
9 persons achieved an NVQ qualification
13 people commenced self-paced learning and assessment, 12 of which will ultimately lead to an NVQ qualification
2 persons attended University working towards a University degree qualification
So far in the first 2 months of 2010, in addition to completion of some training started in 2009, 66 additional trainee-hours of externally provided training has been completed.
None of these statistics take into account the internal training and coaching that goes on day to day which, though unrecorded, is nevertheless of considerable value in maintaining Investor in People status and ensuring the Company's future ability to meet our client and customer needs.
