Another Academy Project Completed - 30/09/2009
Thorpe Kilworth recently completed the fixed and loose furniture at Eastbourne Church of England Academy in Darlington.
Easbourne C of E became an Academy in September 2007 working from their existing site until moving into the new build in September of this year. The Academy provides 700 places for local 11 to 16 year olds.
The Academy's funding comes from the Government and its sponsors – the Church of England and business entrepreneurs Anne and David Crossland.
The Academy will be changing its name in honour of one of the most famous of the Northern Saints, to become St. Aidan's Church of England Academy, Darlington.
