Thorpe Kilworth won the FF&E contract for Corby Academy in Autumn 2007. Wates Construction is the main contractor and the two companies worked together on the London (Edgware) Academy. Fosters is the architect with whom Thorpe worked closely on the recently opened Thomas Deacon Academy in Peterborough. |

Sunfield is a national UK charity specialising in the care of children with severe and complex learning needs and is recognised internationally for its work with children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The charity offers full time residential care and education and provision for day students as well as carrying out ground-breaking research into ways of delivering improved care and teaching to the children.

| Completion of the Peterborough Academy - 02/10/2007 |
The Thomas Deacon Academy in Peterborough was completed in August 2007 and opened its doors to its pupils on 10 September 2007. The Academy has replaced John Mansfield School, Hereward Community College and Deacon's School. Work has been progressing on the site since August 2005.
